(+) After you order, you can get another cup of coffee at a discounted price of 150 yen. (+) A variety of seating styles: outdoor terrace, community long table, regular tables, low tables. (+) The café is connected to a bookstore that also has stationery. (+) There is an art gallery on the 2nd floor that has exhibits.

(-) I didn't use the Wifi, so I don't know the quality. (-) The Bolognese pasta was unusually sweet and the noodles were rubbery. (not pictured) (-) The house blend coffee was really bitter....

Been here a couple times, has the coffee, price, friendly and relaxing atmosphere like Starbucks but local touch. Menu taste, galley, and bookstore are geared towards main Japanese customers. The history of this location and connection to a gallery/bookstore are interesting to learn about. Being near Kyoto International School may bring some foreign customers that live or visit the neighborhood regularly.

Absolutely amazing little Café with great savory food, sweet sandwiches and cakes. It's cozy and has enough tables to accommodate even our group of 5 which is not a given here in Japan as we have noticed. The smoothies are super tasty and I can really recommend their curry! The servers are also so friendly and speak enough english to order comfortably!...
