While walking in gyoen park we were getting hungry and started looking for a place to eat. We stumbled upon a menu standing outside in the street and said why not try this. Not knowing what to expect, we walked through the narrow alley and went inside. We were welcomed by the friendly staff and chose to sit at the bar. This is where the magic happens and magical it was. The cocktail I ordered was made with great precision an craftsmanship. The butterfly sour tasted amazing and would recommend this experience. My girlfriend had the homemade ginger ale and was also delicious. A great start and it only got better. The chef works with themed menus which changes every month. This menu was inspired by the italian pavillion in the expo 2025 Osaka. We were presented with a fresh salad which tasted perfect in the hot weather. The main course was the 'moment supreme' with delicious rolled fish, a curry, spiced rice and a beautiful tower of deliciousness in the italian colors. The dessert was a perfect closer for the menu. This experience made my stay in kyoto unforgettable and I am jealous of the people whom will try the next menu's. I have to come back...

Seriously Good Food & Super Cool Vibe! My husband and I had an absolutely fantastic meal here during our trip to Kyoto! The food was truly great – every dish was delicious. Rich in spice and flavours. What really stood out was their incredible flexibility: they were able to whip up a delicious vegetarian meal on the fly for us, which was such a relief and really appreciated. A heads-up for future diners: I'd definitely recommend calling ahead to try and snag a reservation, especially if you have specific dietary needs. If not, it's worth showing up, but just be aware that they might not always have immediate vegan or vegetarian options readily available. However, the staff here is absolutely top-notch and did an amazing job accommodating us. The dining room itself was small, but fun and relaxed, creating a really enjoyable atmosphere. From the moment we walked in, sweaty and a bit underdressed from sightseeing, we were warmly welcomed. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, which made a big difference for two tired tourists. Our server, in particular, was amazing—genuine, thoughtful, and made us feel completely at ease.
