Stumbled upon this beef restaurant by chance and what a find it turned out to be! It's nestled in a spot where not many eateries offer walk-in availability, making this place a true gem. Surprisingly, it wasn't crowded during dinner, allowing us to enjoy a whole room to ourselves. The food quality was unexpectedly superb, especially for a restaurant in the heart of Kyoto that wasn't bustling with patrons. You might think there'd be something off with the place, but the dishes were absolutely delicious and offered at a surprisingly low price for the set meals. This restaurant really is a hidden treasure. The only slight downside was the service. With us being the only group there, the staff seemed a bit too relaxed, hanging back and chatting. When it was time to get the check, we had to go to the main desk and wait to be noticed, which was a minor hassle. Despite this little inconvenience, I would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to all my friends in the area. It's definitely worth a visit for anyone looking for quality beef at great prices.

Don’t come here, overall the food and service is below average. Maybe the first Hanji in Chinese can represent the overall experience: 侑 means UGLY

The staff were attentive and friendly, explaining how to properly enjoy sukiyaki, especially if you’re new to the dish. The ambiance was cozy and traditional, making the meal feel even more authentic.
