Washoku Now Joy Kinkakuji — Restaurant in Kyoto

It was terrible! DO NOT VISIT HERE! When I was in Kyoto because of my family trip, I'd been to Kinkakuji temple. After visiting that place, I went to this restaurant. Family, including me, had talked to order food, and waiting for the food. At that time, this restaurant seemed to slack, not seemed to have a lot of guests, so, I found the food seemed to come out soon. Importantly, some of the guests were coming after us, Our food was more to come out LATER than the other guests food. I said to my family "Let's wait a little longer, They looks like reserved guests" Because the food did not come out even after an hour, I asked the employee, and she said my orders does not accepted. Did not even apologize at all, it just came out to the employee going to receive a new order. Who would try to re-order the food in that situation? Not exactly an English-forward restaurant despite its proximity to a major tourist attraction, but I cleared the first hurdle by getting my name into the "we'd like to be seated" book in katakana, which surprised the waitress. The menu is picture-based and it's pretty clear what you're getting even if you can't read it, such as my mountain of fried meat. Walking around for 10 minutes on a Sunday lunch time. This is the one that I found is perfect for dining-in experience. Some of the restaurants closed on Sundays and not easy to find a good restaurant. Washoku has bright dining environment and roomy table, foods are exactly as stated on menu.
