If you're looking for good customer service, look elsewhere. The guy who is normally serving is one of the rudest servers I've ever had both here and abroad. I'm Chinese and even this was a bit much for me. Have a question about the menu? Don't bother. Want to know today's specials? Don't bother. Take more than a moment to order? The coldest side-eye someone could possibly give. Even if you know Japanese, it doesn't go far here. I've come here several times expecting different results, but it was the same each time. The food is generally not worth it. That being said, the Taiwanese Style Yakisoba is actually pretty good. One of the only worthwhile things on the menu if you ask me. I genuinely don’t know how this place is still in business. From the moment we walked in, the staff—especially one particular guy—was unbelievably rude. No greeting, no courtesy, just pure attitude. We tried to give it a chance, but the food that arrived at our table looked (and tasted) like it had been dragged out of a dumpster. It was so bad, we couldn’t eat a single bite. This must be the 'best' Chinese restaurant not only in Kyoto, but also in Japan.

The service is so good and friendly, that they make you feel you are visiting a funeral home. That staff does not know how to smile at all. It is sad, after all.
