Stellar pastries/danishes, and kid friendly. The prices are reasonable for the high quality of what they make. The baker is a true 職人 who clearly takes pride in what he makes and how it makes it. And when we were there, he also took a moment out from his baking to show and explain to my 6-year-old something he was preparing. Read moreI seldom write reviews but I really love this bakery. It’s a small little cute bakery with very friendly owners. I was alone but bought the curry pan, fig danish and a cream cheese bun because I couldn’t decide. And I ate 2 of them in a go cos it was sooooo good. The outside was really crisp, the bun was soft and the curry filling was extremely flavorful. Would totally recommend anyone visiting...
Read moreSimply fantastic! Really interesting creations and flavour combinations - maple flavoured cream inside those fluffy white dough. Danishes with cherry or fig fillings, croissants with dark chocolate but also orange zest. Staff are very friendly with fantastic English. All items have labels so google translate will be able to tell you - but the staff are wonderfully helpful at explaining them. They open at 8:30 and there’s still goods rolling out at 9…I literally ate a croissant out of the oven!
I visited every day whilst in Matsumoto and highly recommend...
