A lovely sushi and sashimi restaurant that was discovered by accident. It's run by a lovely couple who despite not knowing English tried their very best to engage with us and even shared recommendations of things to do in Matsumoto and Nagano.

The fish was fresh and prepared with much skill by the chef who took pride in what he served and sharing with us about the food. We had a sashimi platter and two orders of the three-tier sushi set that worked out to 11,080 JPY, which was value for money. The chef also gave us additional sides like diced octopus.

We had such an amazing experience in this place! First, and most important is the fact that this is the best sushi we ate in Japan. And we used to eat sushi almost every day during our one month trip. Seamon is highly experienced chef, with more than 40 years of experience, and he is making each piece with a lot of a attention and love, and you can feel it in each bite.

Secondly, since this is a small family business with only 6-8 seats, the service and the atmosphere were amazing!
