Very chic space on the 2nd floor to enjoy the beautiful view of Matsushima and good dessert & coffee. Their Portuguese Castella was very light yet moist. The old-fashioned custard pudding was very good with slightly burnt caramel. Very polite service. Various snacks and Knick-knack is sold at the shop on the ground floor.

We snuck in here after lunch for a coffee, pudding and cake, plus some unique honey soft drinks for the kids. While you might have to wait a while for a table at some times, it's worth it for the view and the ambience. Staff are helpful with limited English, and there's an English menu available.

Quaint café with a scenic view of the bay on the second floor. The hojicha, roasted green tea, is fantastic! Try their freshly made castella too! (I made the mistake of getting the dried one which was more like a biscuit 😔) They sell senbei and icecream on the first floor too!

The atmosphere is perfect, especially in a winter morning when the sunshine outdoor doesn’t really help much fighting against the sea wind. The coziness and warmth this place offers is amazingly relaxing. Highly recommend.

When visited matsushima with a girl for sightseeing this shop attracted us with the good looking building and smells. We tried the rice cracker and then we became a couple. hope to visit once again and try other desserts.
