10FACTORY — Restaurant in Matsuyama

Its rather pricey- 600¥ for the mikan tasting- 3 different shots of orange juice. Interesting but its a terribly small portion i reckon you barely get half a cup’s worth. Meanwhile, the tourist information station down the road offers a cup of mikan on the tap for just 100¥ (much more delicious and worthwhile).

This would have scored a 2.5/5 for me, but i did come back another day to try their sorbet and that saved the day. The Shiranhui flavor Sorbet was fantastic and well worth the price. I also got a second flavor which was all right.

All things considered, i will bump this up to a 4/5 after considering the very good...

I visited 10Factory when I spent a few days in Matsuyama in October. I chose to try 3 scoops of their fresh gelato and also a bottle of their popular mikan juice. They sell other types of mikan products too though.

It was my first time here and I had many questions but the staff were very friendly and helpful.

It’s a really nice place to visit to sit down for something to drink but also to pick up something as a souvenir too.

If you want to try real Matsuyama mikan then I recommend visiting 10Factory.
