We were looking for a local coffee spot with great loca vibes and and great coffee and we found it at BAL's. You open the door and it seems to take you to another place in the past. It gives you this nostalgic warm feeling. The owners couple Kenzo-san and Yoko-san greeted us warmly and were very friendly. I asked Kenzo that we would have whatever coffee he recommended which i believe was their blend (BAL) and it was perfectly dark yet smooth. It paired well with buttered toast and or chocolate cake. He really likes coffee, and will taste coffee before brewing yours. Every coffee here is speciality coffee (really high quality), and mine tasted really, really good.
