Had the lunch set for 6000yen consisting of frozen zucchini and tomato, iwate shorthorn beef slices salad (appetiser), fish fillet (chef's seafood selection), 70g maesawa beef sirloin, another salad, and cremé bruleè (dessert). Basically the best meal I've had in my entire life. The teppanyaki was pure art, and the chef was warm and friendly, with him speaking a little english and I a little japanese. I'll never forget the soft tunes of "somewhere over the rainbow" playing as the fatty maesawa beef melted in my mouth in an explosion of flavours. Simply magical.

Great service and food at this spot serving local cuts of Wagyu from the prefecture cooked in front of you. I highly recommend making a booking as we were told to come back at a later time when we walked in due to capacity. I highly recommend trying this place out especially with friends or family as it’s an experience you probably don’t wanna have alone. It’s definitely on my Morioka list of places to eat.

This restaurant was a good experience. The customer service was six stars (if possible) in my opinion. The food was very delicious. The atmosphere very relaxing and peaceful. The cheapest lunch was 7,000 yen and the most price meal was 21,000 yen. In my opinion, it was worthy. The only think they need to improve is the miso soup (very minor thing).

Went to this restaurant wanting to try Maesawa beef. However, in the days leading up to this dinner, I've had a lot of Kobe beef. I know that there are people who like the melt in the mouth (oily to me) taste. Had a chat with the waiting staff about what it is that I did not want (oily and very beefy taste)... and was recommended a cut of and a type of beef...

The chef cooked it to perfection. Medium for me. Medium rare would have been too undercooked for me... I think beef must be cooked to one's preferences - not what "experts" recommend. Would have been better with more salad - because I rarely...
