Food: I really really loved the food and at Valo, Japanese and Western mixed food. There is really delish spaghetti, fries and steak. Atmosphere: The atmosphere is really fun and welcoming because Valo is run by a husband, wife and 3 year old son team which makes it really free and safe. You can play around yet can also relax at the same time. Service: The service is really good, with experienced nice staff. The food arrives quick, unless it really crowded. We would recommend this to families with young kids.

Excellent beer selection, excellent food, excellent service. As a solo traveller who enjoys good beer, this was a great find that felt very welcoming, and highly recommend when in Morioka. Btw their 'VFC' (fried chicken) is very good.

I read this place was family friendly, so I came with my wife and daughter to get some craft beer and some nice food. Was an absolute delight, a must for beer loving parents. Our daughter enjoyed it more than we did, which is saying something.

The burgers were good and the beer selection...

I had the VFC and a glass of the Hill Harmony. The chicken was absolutely amazing. Slightly spicy, perfectly crispy but not too heavy. I'm from Vermont, so I know my craft IPAs, and the beer was fantastic! The server and chef were also very nice and...
