Sea Side Cafe & Bar BuLL's — Restaurant in Motobu

It was ok, but mostly because other restaurants around were closed and we didn't look around more before eating here (we were walking) and super tired. We stopped in after checking into our Airbnb, because as described above. Overall, it wasn't bad, but I probably wouldn't go again. Let me reiterate, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't enough for me to want to go back. I got the avocado burger, which was good overall, but super messy and hard to eat. Chicken curry was ok, but the naan that came with it was huge and tasty. The regular hamburger came with some sort of bright orange sauce, which kind of detracted from the burger. Chicken tacos were overall good. Service was good and quick. Atmosphere was... Well, it's American themed and I got the distinct feeling they were trying too hard on the Americana theme and something got lost in translation. Also, it was hot and humid in the restaurant, and the waiter kept leaving the patio door open when he went to service the outdoor part-time. The poor AC units just couldn't keep up. I recently visited 本部町 Sea Side Cafe & Bar BuLL's カフェ＆バー, and my experience was a mix of positives and negatives.

The location itself is fantastic, with a beautiful seaside view that makes for a relaxing atmosphere. The food and drinks were also quite good, especially the local specialties, which were a delightful surprise.

However, the cleanliness of the cafe left something to be desired. The tables and floors could use more frequent cleaning, which detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, the staff struggled with basic English, which made communication a bit challenging for non-Japanese speakers.

They took our order and repeated it back to us after writing everything down — so far, so good. But they messed up my order. When I pointed it out, she pretended not to understand English, which felt like she was just avoiding the issue. In the end, I didn’t want to cause a scene, so I settled for what I got. The food was very rubbery — basically just something to fill your stomach. The nachos came straight from a bag of Doritos. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
