Stopped by to grab a coffee while planning the next few days in and round Nagano. Shop was crowded with fellow tourists waiting for their train. Managed to grab a table and settled in with a very acceptable soy latte. Great place for people watching and trying to guess which country they have come in from. Lots of Australians here at the moment. A very good place to await the train. Lots of seating. Becks Coffee connects to the Tourist Information Centre so you can pick up you maps and get good advice on how to get to the places you want to see. A very acceptable place for a coffee. While the chicken BBQ sandwich was very bland, the hot "rich" cocoa tasted like cigarette ash and chalk dust. Hands down the worst hot cocoa I have tasted in my life thus far. Everything on the menu, by this standards, is OVERpriced. The cashier had a very "meh" attitude. Wasn't welcoming and seemed like she just wanted to be over with. The lady who served my food seemed nice, though. In conclusion, I wouldn't go there again and definitely wouldn't recommend it. Better get dinner at a proper place, like a family...

It is not your traditional Japanese food, but if you cannot stomach anymore fish for breakfast, then here you will find a welcome relief.
