Since I made a last-minute reservation for one, I’m very grateful that the owner accepted it. I had the dinner set menu, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was wonderful. The owners were so warm and welcoming. Even though I don’t speak Japanese, they kindly took the time to explain each dish to me. Using fresh and familiar ingredients, they created dishes with such rich layers of flavor that I was truly amazed—like magic! The chawanmushi (茶碗蒸)here is the best I’ve ever had. At the end, they even let me try making matcha. I’m really thankful for this lovely evening and the amazing experience in Nagano.☺️ I hope I’ll have the chance to come back and taste it again...
