Hotel Unicorn — Hotel in Nagano

The staff were rude on check in and leaving luggage on arrival, other than this I did not see them around so they were never there to answer any questions or give advice or anything. The room was big but the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The shower was not very good either. Had staff falling apart in the roof of my room. Quite expensive considering the quality of the room which was poor. Payment was confusing as it said all payments would be made at the property but got charged the full price a few days before hand. My room was also next to the smoking balcony so I could not open the windows due to the smokers (I'm not a smoker). I was not happy with this hotel and will...

A good hotel to stay at Nagano... Pros : Separate bathroom with western style washroom. Great room ambiance (dimming lights) Individual Heating and cooling control in rooms Wifi Bath towels and toothbrush set provided Cons : A little far from Nagano 20-25 min walk or need to take bus or subway from Nagano to Gondo station 2.Rooms can be a bit bigger 3.Room service can be better

My room was spacious but quite old, the AC was not working properly, the mattress was too hard, I didn't like the blanket, the ground is covered with carpet. The shower was good, hot water and enough strength. The neighbourhood felt not so good but it was really close to a shopping district with many restaurants and easily connected to Nagano Station by foot.
