We had a great experience at 煖. The owner is very friendly and genuine. The shop uses charcoal grill. I highly recommend marinated beef short ribs. Can also try Gifu sake. One thing is that there is no English menu but the owner really tries his best to communicate and try to get to know us. We felt very welcome and had a great time at the restaurant. The waiters are also very friendly and helpful.

The owner asked how did we find his shop and I told him we found it on google map based on reviews and ratings. I showed him the google ratings and reviews of his shop and he is genuinely surprised. 😂

Had dinner twice in this wonderful restaurant. Hospitable staff and spacious seating areas. We ordered the premium wagyu selection, garlic rice, Mikawa chicken and some vegetable dishes. All were of high quality. By the way, they used charcoal instead of gas for grilling, which, in my opinion, did make the wagyu a little more flavourful.

Had dinner here with my family and it is delicious. It is slightly on the pricier side but absolutely worth it. Exceptional service start to finish. Although the restaurant is small, there are partitions between group seatings to make it feel more private. Their tongue with the lemon dipping sauce was the highlight for me.
