Gajapo — Restaurant in Nagoya

We are foreigners (2nd time in Nagoya) and wehunted for the wagyu hitsumabushi place we saw in Tiktok and it did not disappoint. The place is at B1 of Symphony Toyota Building, not Midland Square. Went on a tuesday night 7:01pm and was asked to return after 1 hour. We spent time in the nearby Dean and Deluca and bought snacks in Midland Family Mart.

After we got seated, we were instructed to order 1 drink each, I ordered a Sapporo Perfect (490¥) and my comp ordered a Premium Grape Juice (540¥). We proceeds to order the Hitsumabishi (2790¥) and there was no problem even if we ordered just 1. We planned to share and have a taste. It was heavenly, the wagyu beef was melt in your mouth, i loved it plain and with wasabi, spring onions, rice crackers and additional sauce (black bottle) while my comp loved it with the fish soup (red bottle).

There was no English menu but Google Translate did its usual magic. There was a laminated paper with Instructions on how to enjoy the dish in English
