I thought the entrance was tucked away and that the shop would be small, but there was actually a basement floor as well, and during lunchtime, it was bustling with many customers.

We started with freshly steamed siu mai and cold beer - a fantastic combination! And of course, we had to have the classic ramen and white rice!! The food was not only delicious, but also reasonably priced and came in large portions!!!

Located within walking distance of Mitsui garden hotel, this Chinese eatery will be a comfort to you if you have enough of Japanese cuisine. They have tons of items on their menu. 会社が近いので、平日のランチでコチラ中華料理のカミナリ飯店さんにお邪魔しました。場所は名古屋駅前・ミッドランドスクエア裏手、飲食店も並ぶ一角の路面店。一等地ですね。ちなみに、オープンは2020年秋で、それ以前もラーメン屋さんで、隣もラーメン屋さんです。

頼んだのは、店名を冠する看板メニュー「カミナリ飯」！　唐揚げ２個、トンカツ、チャーシュー３枚、カレー味のミンチ、キムチ、フライドガーリック、生タマゴと、なかなかのジャンク感(←ホメことば)。ごはん大盛だとプラス150円なので、ちょっと考えてごはんは増量せず。ごはんの量は大したことないのでおかずが余ってしまいましたが、全体の量としてはごはん並盛でも十分おなかいっぱい。肉欲・コッテリ欲は十分満たせましたが、しばらく食べ物はあっさり系でいいです（さすがに添えてあるマヨネーズは残しました(^-^;）。

ランチメニューのラーメン＋半チャーハンのセットが消費税込み９５０円と一般的な町中華の価格帯からすると少し高めですが、今回注文したカミナリ飯はランチではスープ付で税込880円なので、名古屋駅前という立地でこの量ならお値打ちです！　この立地でこういった価格帯の中華はあまりなく、店内も新しくきれいなので（よく町中華でありがちな机や床の油ベトベト感が無い）、手軽に名古屋駅前で中華料理を食べたい人にお勧めです。ただ、カウンターに飛沫除けの衝立が無い等、コロナ対策が弱い（消毒用アルコールが置いてあるくらい）ので、迷いましたが星は４つにしました。

P.S 前回訪問から一年以上経った2023年9月に再度お邪魔して看板メニューのカミナリ飯を頂きました。その間の物価高騰もあり、前回から中身とお値段が少し変わっていました。丼に載るのは、唐揚げ2個、トンカツ、チャーシュー2枚、ウインナー2本、カレー味のミンチ、キムチ、生タマゴ、マヨネーズ。ランチタイムはこれにスープも付いて税込み920円。以前より40円値上がりしていますが、それでも充分お値打ち！　しかもごはん大盛は以前の150円から100円に値下げしているので、ごはん大盛りなら値下げです。なかなかのコスパです。

P.S.2 2025年7月に再訪して、カミナリ飯を頂きました。上に乗る具は前回から変わらず（唐揚げ2個、トンカツ、チャーシュー2枚、ウインナー2本、カレー味のミンチ、キムチ、生タマゴ、マヨネーズ）で、お値段は1000円（消費税別、スープ付き）になっていました。ランチは消費税分サービスで1000円ぽっきり。ごはん大盛り100円と、物価高の昨今で名駅前の立地とし...
