Machikadoya Nishikidori Fushimi — Restaurant in Nagoya

Had a yummy pork tonkatsu and its really yummy and the portion is quite large for the price. For the set (see pic below), it's 770 yen. 😁😋 And you can add rice or tea (free flow) from a vending machine. Service is also very friendly, a middle aged lady greeted and helped me so warmly as the need to purchase a meal ticket first and it's all in Japanese. But glad I could choose from the picture and just need to select the left big button when you start for dine-in and insert cash first before ordering (this is the part I needed the server's help 😊), if not, you'll keep hearing a voice alert "okane..." (okane is money 😜). Overall, very enjoyable and cost effective meal! Double thumbs up and please try (I'm planning to try Karage tmr 😋) and don't worry about not knowing Japanese, hope the above tips works or just follow the guy next to you (there are 2 ordering machines) 😉 NEW on 16 March 😁, I went back for Karage chicken and ordered an ebi Tempura udon by mistake (I was trying to scroll up by swiping up but instead sent in an order 🤦) but no regrets coz all the food is super yummy!...

The menu has various options and the ordering system was pretty easy to navigate. We ordered a tempura soba set and mixed variety don set, which had a good variety of flavours. Free cold and hot tea options were available as well as rice refills, and the person who served us was friendly and efficient despite our limited Japanese.
