Moumoutei — Restaurant in Nagoya

I’m visiting Japan from Canada for business. We have found the restaurant and decided to visit to try. We have arrived before closing time an almost an hour and half hours and we only inquired once we opened the door if it’s available. It was unfortunate that the staff had rushed and told us that it’s finished. We understood and we were about to turn back and walk out because we had other restaurants we wanted to go too. However, the part of the reason we had to give this honest review because the staff really rushed us out of the door and we didn’t have a chance to properly walk out by ourselves. Then we were confused by the hasty response by the staff. We were already halfway at the door and held it open. We almost stuck together at the door tried to squeezed out while the staff behind really wanted us to walk out and held the door to close against us. It’s really impolite manner and it was like chase us away when we were about to leave right away. It’s a very sad experience. Perhaps we are foreigners that they treated us this unexpected courtesy. We were looking forward to eating here, however we didn’t even get to go in the door, literally. As soon as we walked in, a waitress showed us a paper that they only took set course meals and asked if it was okay. We said yes, then she showed us the menu and said we had to choose one, while we were still standing on the threshold. I said okay, then she brings out another paper saying we had to order one drink each. I once again said okay. Meanwhile, all the tables were empty. But still she didn’t sit us down. Then the older waitress came out and literally told us to wait outside the door and when we were ready to choose the course meal to let her know and before she closed the door in our faces she told us that all three of us had to choose the same course meal. That was just sooo rude. We felt so uncomfortable that we decided to leave. When I opened the door to let them know we were leaving, they just laughed. We willl not recommend this restaurant to foreigners. It is the worst experience we’ve ever...

不潔で最悪な店。Really disappointing Filthy restaurant!!!! The service was appallingly bad!!! 他の低い評価も要確認、とんでもない接客の店。80分以上席が空いてるのに待たされた挙句、通された席は、前の客（他人）が食べ散らかした状態で、食器や食べかすなど食後全く片付けない状態×2名分の前で、そこでの食事を強要させられました。店員の態度もとても残念で不愉快。Lunch surrounded by leftovers and dirty dishes. So...
