Otaru Masazushi Sakae — Restaurant in Nagoya

I wasn’t overly impressed with this restaurants menu and delivery of the omakase. For the price you pay, it was not worth it. You get far better value from a smaller restaurant with a chef who owns and operates his own business. This restaurant charges you a premium but does not deliver you a premium meal and service. They also have limited commercial sake’s, when you would expect some limited edition sakes which the chef has matched with what he offers. I won’t be recommending this restaurant to anyone or coming back. Way over priced for what you get....

Attractive place and centrally located in the 3rd floor of a nice large food and shops court. However, the sushi didn’t taste good to us. The chef seems very strange… Strange looking guy who might have a sense of humor but he was really too strange for us to relax in front. And worse, his omakase creations just didn’t taste good. The bill was not cheap. Not worth...

Very decent omakase, especially the surf clam sashimi. The grill taro is also super delicious. The restaurant was a bit difficult to find by google map, but it is actually located inside a small shopping mall, upstair of Muji. It is quite reasonable priced with its sashimi and sushi quality. Service was friendly, the chef tried his best to explain the dishes...
