Rice People, Nice People! Nagoya — Restaurant in Nagoya

To start... I will never return. If you are wanting Thai food... this is NOT the place! I repeat... do NOT eat here if you want Thai food. This isn't even good Japanese food. Think of this as a McDonald's equivalent of Thai something. I ordered Gapao. See the photo, but I have no idea what I was served. No traditional Thai flavors or spiciness. Rice is not Thai style. They don't even have spicy fish oil available. I imagine the waitresses are temp-hires. Ridiculous amounts of rules to follow to enter. I was told not to talk loudly if I don't wear a mask. Is talking loudly while eating a meal a thing? Even the name is...

I tried their pad thai and spring rolls. They didn’t have the tasty Southeast Asian flavors. The pad thai was too egg-y, not enough peanuts for adequate crunch and also not enough tamarind and fish sauce flavor in the sauce. Moreover, spring rolls are all about the filling and the sauce. These rolls were just fried rolled wrappers. The ambience was nice though. Service was fast as well. I would love to give their set meals a chance next...

Pretty decent asian food but mostly Thai's. Khao man gai is pretty good and I like the tomyum soup, but there are many places with better Tomyum soup imo.

Gave a 3 stars for the food because while the foods are pretty decent, the price is higher than what you get for the taste...
