Arrived the restaurant about 40 minutes before end of afternoon section. The staff firstly wouldn’t lead me to my seat and then the head chef(i think) came out and told me I have only about 30 minutes, is that ok. Of course, no other answer from me!😁
And the result,,, Right decision!! Shiraga Unagi cuisine is not in the guidebook I read, just randomly visited and it really really worth🥰
The eel rice Shiraga Hitsumabushi is served in just perfect portion. Taste was very good, and I loved the 山椒 Sanshou (Japanese pepper) here. Personally I can scent the citrus in there bergamot? Lemon peel? But it was just too perfect with the eel and sauce.
Would recommend, and me myself also definitely visit there...

And the eel isn’t that good as we expected...

This girl likes her eel, and this restaurant delivered! Worth the long wait during...
