On of my best dinner’s in Okinawa, actually the best experience. Went here with my friend and reserved a table in advance through the hotel as the staff only speak Japanese and the Website doesn’t offer online booking. This was a recommendation of a local I met before! I loved every single second of the dining experience. The famous Agu Pork Shabu Shabu was delicious! Marvellous in fact. We had 5 staff attending our needs, explaining and showing us how to cook the pork properly and add condiments and side dishes to perfect the experience. What an amazing and memorable experience. This restaurant is the top rated shabu-shabu restaurant in Okinawa and prides itself on using only 100% purebred Agu pork (as opposed to mixed-breed Agu pork) and the best seasonal vegetables. Indeed we could taste the difference in the pork quality compared to what we had elsewhere. The staff was friendly and did some initial cooking and showed us some combinations to try, e.g. wrapping the pork around the seagrapes or wrapping the pork around young papaya slices and sprinkled with sea salt, were unusual and delicious. Showed up and they tried to send me to a completely different restaurant on the main street area that looked like a tourist trap and was far cheaper and therefore likely not the pure bred Agu Pork.
