While looking for a yakiniku restaurant in the area this one stood out to us in. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, explained to us about the different cuts of meat and even brought us a meat dictionary.
The owner came to our table to deliver one of our sets and check on us and again at the end of our meal to thank us for joining them and gave us his business card and a souvenir. We took pictures with him in front of the restaurant afterwards.
The food was amazing and delicious. We were given wagyu tartar and a special salad with aged beef to start. The beef was well seasoned and so tender that cutting it was unnecessary. The Agu Pork was so rich and melted in our mouth. The chicken was tender and juicy. The sides of lightly pickled vegetables and kimchi, were very thoughtful and refreshing on our palate to balance all of the meat. For dessert we had a very creamy purple sweet potato ice cream that was the perfect finish to the meal.
I would highly recommend eating here if you are ever in Okinawa. It is easy to find and there are plenty of parking lots...
Read moreDespite having no reservation, we came here at 5:30pm hoping to get a seat. We got a private little nook and the owner was very welcoming, communicating in a mix of English and Chinese (which he knows some of!). There are menus with English which helped us order. We wanted to try Ishigaki beef at reasonable prices, and we certainly did! The mushrooms were also amazing; the owner was welcoming and incredibly nice!
We chose a variety of different steaks, mushrooms, grilled vegetables and pork. It was good to know the meat was freshly sourced from their chosen farms. It was meltingly tender and juicy and the light seasoning added to the flavour without overpowering the meatiness. More seasoning is provided.
I would recommend any steak with a little fresh wasabi and soy sauce! And the mushrooms. The mushrooms are heavenly! Also the mango sour...
Read moreA wonderful dining experience and Hospitality provided by Mr Yamamoto and his staff is beyond words. Despite reaching with mere 1hr to closing, Mr Yamamoto gave us a pleasant welcome assured us. I went close to their closing hence no wait time for table. He was trying his best in English to explain to us and we appreciate that. We were recommended for the family set menu. The food was served shortly and it’s is indeed a huge and generous serving for a family. The Wagyu beef was of top quality. The ambience was amazing. Mostly importantly we were not rushed despite them closing in an hour. Mr Yamamoto gave us a wonderful dining experience and we had little chats here and there. Mr Yamamoto a respectful and humble gentleman. This restaurant is a must go and try if you are in...
