It's open until late(midnight) so if you happen to stop by Nara for the deer park/shrines, you can spend the day, have dinner and have dessert here right after as it's near the station.

Being in and around Osaka and Tokyo, haven't come across "Sundaes" in flavours other than Strawberry (for some reason strawberry desserts are very popular here), this was a good dessert compromise for me and my partner as i don't often like desserts unless it's gelato/icecream/sundaes whereas she has a huge sweettooth.
