Place is overall unclean. The bench has crumbs either from bread or pizza. Very uncomfortable. Young male staff is unprofessional and not service oriented. He doesn’t even know that Heartland beer is from Kirin and told me 3 times that it is an Italian beer, which is a pure joke as I wasn’t convinced and went to Google and found out that it is from Kirin, Japan. Luckily the pizza maker said it is Kirin without directly communicating with me. The pizza maker took money with his right hand with glove. Before that, I saw him made pizza with gloves, so I am worried that he made our pizzas with the same glove that touched money. The 5 cheeses pizza is strangely flooded with olive oil and is too heavy and soggy and is not worth the high price of 2300 yen at all. Even my cheese loving husband could not eat this pizza. They even gave us honey and suggested pouring on the olive oil drenched 5 cheeses pizza. Overall pizza is really weak tasting and...
Read moreIf you are in for a more western-style pizza, meaning a good amount of topping so that the dough cant hold it if you lift a piece, then you are in for a treat here! :) Only close minded people would argue about it not being italian enough - but you are in japan and its not run by italians. Dough is sick, a good amount of topping, and extra wishes were NO problem. Left out corn and cream on the american pizza and we added proscuitto on a margerita. I dont know what people expect these days. And if u want some actual food for this price of course the bottom of the pizza will get a bit soggy over time, but its bc theres so much good tasting juicy topping, who in the right mind complains about that wtf. The grape fruit juice was very delicious by the way 🙂↕️ (combine it with a peach fizz and u get a deluxe tasting mix)
Oh and i was a countless amount of times in italy, i go there EVERY year and this pizza was better than many i've...

We did not want to eat non-Japanese food during our trip but this restaurant intrigued us using local ingredients so we decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint! The quality of the ingredients was top notch, you didn't even need to add salt or pepper, everything was seasoned perfectly! We had the mussels linguini, the homemade pancetta carbonara (pasta was perfectly al dente) & the Nara vegetables pizza, it was a treat!!!
Waiters did not speak much of English but still tried to communicate with us and they were very nice + service was quick even though it was a busy night. Would totally...
