This place is a hidden gem in Nara. Bifu was so lovely and gracious to us. The tea was absolutely incredible and he showed us how he makes his incredible art. You must try this place! I’ve been there on both my trips to Japan and I find it such a relaxing and friendly cafe :)

Such a nice store you definetly should visit. You prepare your tea yourself while being instructed. Please try the nara specialty yamato-cha (yamato-tea) its sweet and herb at the same time and gets a bit bitter the higher the temprature. The owners are very kind as well.
