華園 — Restaurant in Nara

This place was our favorite memory during our time in Japan. My family and I absolutely loved this restaurant, but more importantly, we loved the owner who made the experience so special for us. We came here during our first night in Nara and we asked the owner for his recommendations and he said he would take care of us and give us a delicious dinner. We trusted him and we were so happy with the result. Not only was the food amazing but his service and hospitality was incredible. We decided to come back the second night because we loved it so much and this time we got to know the owner more, and about his life. Connecting with him and sharing about his life was truly special and by the end of the night my family all cried because he touched our hearts so deeply. If you want good food, you can go to any where in Japan and throw a rock and I’m sure you’ll hit a restaurant that serves a delicious meal.
