Yayoiken Nara Station — Restaurant in Nara

Good place to fuel up before Nara Park visits. Made a dash from Kyoto express train to Nara and missed breakfast.

Asked the guide at the JR Nara where was a good place to have local Japanese breakfast. She said group floor. 😁

Came yo Yayoiken Nara Station right after finishing the Pro-wrestling match. The food was quite affordable at around 800 to 1300 yen range for a fulfilling meal.

The karaage and tsukemono was very delicious albeit a bit salty ! You can choose the type of rice you'd like, either white or whole grain, like I did. You can refil your rice for free too !!

Yummy set meals at reasonable prices. I took my family there on a Monday evening. We ordered from a touch screen (English is provided as an option) and paid, added our name to a waiting list, and shortly we're seated. Food came fast and was very good. Water and hot liquids (soup?
