This American-style steakhouse, located in the same building as the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, offers an upscale dining experience. The interior design combines the dark, classic furniture typical of US steakhouses with bright white walls and ceilings, creating a refreshing contrast.
The staff are very friendly, primarily Japanese-speaking with limited English skills. However, their warmth and dedication more than make up for any language barriers. While they may seem slightly unsure due to this, it’s entirely unnecessary as their service is impeccable.
The food quality is excellent, prepared with the precision and care you’d expect from a top-tier establishment in Japan. From the amuse-bouche to the uniquely served and extraordinary bread, every dish was delightful. The Tomahawk steak comes highly recommended, perfectly complemented by the asparagus. For dessert, the soufflé was a standout, a perfect sweet ending to the meal.
While the restaurant is currently rated at 4.0 stars, we believe this undervalues the experience. A more accurate rating would be 4.3 to 4.5 stars. As only full-star ratings are possible, I happily give this...
Read moreThere were many things wrong with this place, each of which alone would have been passable, but, compounded together, made a regrettable experience. It started with nobody being at the front desk and having to search to get our reserved table. Then we are brought into a large, virtually empty room that is way too bright for any establishment short of a dentist’s office. Several tables around remained un-bussed for over 10 minutes while we were served a peculiar and unwanted dish comprised of cauliflower in some gelatin, the remnants of which remained with us until the end of the meal, along with any other plate we were served prior to the entree. Overall, the food was fine. Some of it was good, most of it was okay, and some of it was not good. But walking out of the place paying over ¥30k for two people without any appetizers felt like a white...
Read moreI got to the place at 8:50pm and I was told that the kitchen will closes at 9 pm, I agree to order quickly and we did. There were 4 waiters and the supervisor at the restaurant to serve just me and my wife. The waiter dis not know what a Martini was, so we had to order some other drinks. They never serve us or offered water during the meal and they finally did at the end when I asked for it. The food was good: We had oysters, lobster Bisque, the salmon and the Kobe beef. They never pick up the dishes once we were finish unless we told them to do so. This is the worse service ever in my life and we are in Japan that up to that meal my impresion of the people serving you was very positive. I will not recommend to go to this place. Choose another place of the many options around. Service is...
