Stayed 2 nights in August 2025 for business trip. Excellent location and good value considering Expo year pricing in Osaka.||LOCATION:|Outstanding location just 5+ minutes walk from JR Osaka Station West Exit via straight route - very easy to find. Close to KITTE Osaka and major shopping areas. Perfect for business travelers needing good transport connections.||ROOM & FACILITIES:|Double non-smoking room was compact but functional - typical Japanese business hotel standard. Room included all necessary amenities, good air conditioning, and reliable WiFi. Desk available for light work but not ideal for extensive laptop sessions due to makeup-style chair. Large suitcases may fit but limited walking space when opened.||SERVICE:|Smooth check-in/check-out process. Staff efficient and helpful throughout stay.||BREAKFAST:|Included breakfast buffet was decent quality but very crowded - waited 10 minutes in lobby during peak time. Food variety adequate and no items ran out despite busy period.||MINOR ISSUES:|Lobby has noticeable cigarette smell upon entry (though rooms are fine). Breakfast timing requires patience due to crowds.||SOUND:|Could hear footsteps in corridor but no noise from adjacent rooms or outside traffic.||SURROUNDING AREA:|Excellent access to shopping, dining and transport. KITTE Osaka and station complex provide all necessary amenities within walking distance.||PERFECT FOR: Business travelers, short stays, those prioritizing location over luxury, budget-conscious visitors during high-season periods||CONSIDER ELSEWHERE: Travelers wanting spacious rooms, extensive in-room work setup, or sensitive to smoke odors||Would stay again for future Osaka business trips. Solid choice for practical travelers who value location and efficiency over...
Read moreI have been Osaka several times and this was our 2nd time staying at this hotel. Overall, the rooms were cosy and spacious (comparing to most hotel rooms in Japan) though a little dark/dim and adding another 1-2 lights will help. Beds were comfortable and we had good sleep throughout our 6 nights here. And room service was well done.||One of the things missing (from our previous stay) was that they had removed the music player that had several channels to choose from like sentimental or classical music. What a shame! And very limited TV channels too. Also they did not provide coffee but only tea, so strange!||In terms of breakfast, we bought the voucher the day before and was cheaper than walking in on the actual day. About S$15 and the spread were quite good, inclusive of local and western food, drinks and fruits. ||But do take note of the "long queue" especially between 7.30-8.30am because many guests come during this period to be in time for their day tours as tour coaches come to fetch them at around 8.30am.||We used to walk through the Umesan Kouji to Osaka station, a direct 3-min walk with eateries, convenience and amusement stores but due to the recent construction of new buildings, we had to detour around the main road and needed to walk for about 8-10mins to reach the station.||Overall, our stay here was...
