delighted to meet up and had a good chat with noriko's best long time friend kumiko at this unique US style plain decor spacious cafe, with Kie and Ryu together, enjoying the strong aroma nice brewed coffee, after some decades! i could not quite remember but kumiko reminded that we had a wonderful time and she had drove us, me and noriko to tour mount rokko on my japan visit decades ago! oh those were the days! we wish kumiko well when we had to leave the coffee shop just before closing time, kumiko is surprisingly very fluent in english, pleasant and graceful, she presented us some yummy dried globefish snack (also called puffer fish) which is a japan specialty, by the way in case you don't know puffer fish is a premium kind of seafood in japan,

to wrap up, the coffee shop being very spacious with a relaxed atmosphere is very suitable for friends to meet up or just to relax and refresh with good coffee and pastries if you feel hungry, at very good...

I wanted to give them 5 stars, but their floor staffer was so rude. While I ordered, my family including kids were seated inside. I want to caveat that it was NOT BUSY and there was plenty of seating, we were mindful of this. I ordered two drinks and when walking towards my family, the female staffer approached me and quickly asked if the others were also ordering drinks. I said no, and she gave me an annoyed look and I said that we would be leaving in a few mins. She said, it’s one drink per person. I didn’t see any signs indicating this or a need as it seemed to be a nice casual cafe…Anyhow, we headed out but found a bench outside their cafe. It was SWELTERING hot outside, so we sat to quickly finish our coffees and figure out where to go next. The same woman came outside and told us those seats were theirs too and that again, we all needed to order a drink or go. I don’t understand what or who did something to her...
