My dad and I were taking a walk when we stumbled across the covered shopping street where this restaurant was. We decided to try it out on our way back to the train station, and it was a great little spot to eat at! The ordering is all done through a kiosk looking thing in the narrow entrance of the place, and while there are multiple language settings, it's not super easy to understand at first glance. I can imagine if it were busier I would have messed up our order because I would have rushed. The cook was nearby, so he answered our questions when I asked in Japanese. There is indoor seating, but there is also a small area outside the back door on a deck where you can sit and enjoy the sunshine. The waiter will bring you your order and they bring a chilled glass mugs for your drinks. The return tray shelf is hidden around the corner in the entrance, so it is important to remember to return your finished dishes there. We shared an order of the garlic miso pork set, and it was a nice sort of snack-y dinner-y meal for our journey back on the train. I think we ate this around 4pm, so it was a little early for dinner, but because of that it wasn't very crowded. The meat was flavorful, the miso soup was good, the little potato salad was tasty, and the rice was filling. It was funny that the kiosk advertised a Coca cola, but I was brought a bottle of Pepsi instead. Overall, I would recommend this place for a nice little pork dish snack where you can sit down and relax for a bit in the heart...
Read morethe food was honestly good but I feel like I got ripped off at this place. I'll write this to cover two scenarios: You order at a machine inside the store. I very clearly chose the picture of a pork bowl with an egg on top, then selected to get an extra egg. I think it was like 140 yen. I wanted 2 eggs with my meal. When the bowl came, it only had 1 egg. So I asked the waitress and showed her my receipt, that I had ordered an extra egg. She pointed at the 140 yen charge and said "one egg". I said yes, but I thought the bowl came with one and that I thought I had ordered 2 eggs. She then said that the bowl had one in it.
So either 1 of 2 things happened here.
Either way, I am subtracting stars because of either 1, misleading menu/pictures or 2, just not giving me the food I...

Small but cozy eatery along a busy shopping strip.
The yummy aroma of pork on a hot grill pulled me in and the pictures on the menu were absolutely NOT false advertising.
I ordered the regular size pork belly donburi with a tempura egg. The serving was generous and the service was quick.
The pork was juicy and tender. The egg was crunchy on the outside with a warm gooey liquid gold centre that was an awesome foil for the smokey slice of pork with the sweet glaze of sauce. It was pure happiness to eat and the 980 yen price tag only made it more amazing!
Definitely highly recommended!
