This is a terrible restaurant with racism, please AVOID!! We saw good review and went all the way there for dinner last night. However, as soon as we entered the restaurant and the chef (presumably he’s the chef, as he’s in front of the cooking grill) saw us as foreigners (speaking English, not able to speak Japanese), his face went down and made a noise of impatience! He then immediately asked another staff who could speak English to tell us it’s “full” due to reservations. But we could see there were a few empty seats without any reservation signs, they just didn’t want to serve us (foreigners or just don’t want to serve Asian who aren’t Japanese)! It’s ridiculous! If you don’t want to waste time and don’t want to be discriminated, please avoid!

This place is amazing! When you sit down you order a drink then the food just starts coming. Each piece is hand crafted and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is beautiful with a mix of people all getting drunk, being loud, and enjoying the food. The prices are high compared to most yakitori places but it's worth every penny for the pure deliciousness and experience. We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance only when we saw clients coming out of the door. This is by far the best Yakitori we had during our 3 weeks vacation in Japan. The owner worked in NY for a few years and made a conscious effort to come by whenever we were given something new to explain what we were about to eat. Truly delicious meal.
