This cafe is a hidden gem. Incredible. Neither fancy nor extravagant, this local and traditional coffee house offers no espresso drinks (go elsewhere if you want a pumpkin spice latte). If you are a coffee connoisseur, try their charcoal-roasted “strong” blend 深紅. Its depth (“Koku” in Japanese), brightness, and elegant aroma would knock you off the floor. I was in Osaka on a business trip and just happened to be staying near this place. One of the best cafes I have ever visited. (I have been drinking coffee for more than half a century.) Read moreCame yesterday but was closed. It's a small Jap-Euro style cafe. They serve hearty breakfast set until 11am. After that, their menu will change to lunch set. We had egg sandwich and omelet topped with homemade sauce. The sandwich is so soft, and the egg is cooked just nice. There is egg mayo lightly spread on the bread. The soup that come with the set is so good. The omelet with homemade sauce is so tasty with the toast bread. The combination is so so good. Highly recommend this dish.
