I had this place ramen with Yuzu back on 2019 before pandemic when I first visited Osaka. I love it so much I had it every night. Last Aug I visited Toyko so I went to their branch but it was terrible. Tonight I came to Osaka for transfer only one night and I decided to have this dreaming ramen one more time. The taste was great , much better than the one in Tokyo. Chef told me they don’t have no branch in Tokyo so I was confused. I was trying to order 2 more pieces roasted pork but chef told me 7:45 they don’t accept order anymore. I was disappointed but it was OK. Then I was telling the chef I missed their ramen for 5 years but he just walked away without saying anything. I guess I was on his way cleaning up. This attitude reminds me of New York City where I came from where people are usually cold. But this just walk away without saying anything attitude is just terrible no matter how good the food is. When I walked out there , it was 7:50. This is it , my dreamy ramen, good bye and won’t...
Read moreA decent modern-style ramen with distinct flavors and an above average price tag.
The venue is a standard counter-seating only ramen joint, and the staff are very friendly.

The ramen had a very nice, creamy soup and very delicious cuts of meat, but the soup had a sour undertone that ended up pretty overwhelming by the time I reached the bottom of the bowl. The pork bowl had a very large dollop of sweet soy sauce foam that was good, but again overwhelmed everything else, which was a shame because the pork was so nice.
I'd definitely like to go back again to try the less fancy, more standard...
Read moreThe style of ramen they are known for is a Tori paitan - creamy chicken broth. The broth was thick and brownish in color. Some thick cuts of onion complements the heavier broth well. The thing that makes this ramen stand out is the yuzu foam that covers the surface of the ramen. It adds that slight mellow citrus flavor. It made the ramen so fleshing - perfect on a humid Osaka summer. The noodles were chewy and enjoyable.
The chasu rice came topped with a thick layer of shoyu on top. It was a slightly stronger sauce.
I arrived around 8:15pm, they close at 9pm. It was a Friday. I was glad I made it as I was rushing all the way from Osaka Expo many...
