As other reviewers point out, this is an izakaya and thus best experienced in a social setting. Their all-you-can-drink plan is quite reasonable, so I'm sure that those of you who like drinking would have a good time.
That said, I neither came with a friend (I probably should get one soon) nor drank any alcohol. Can't say that it was all but mediocre, though. I came in, climbed up some stairs and there was already a staff waiting to welcome my arrival. Quite lovely, that was! Then I took off my shoes (this is a shoes-off establishment) and was guided into a private room. I took a gander at their very diverse menu (I don't know what others were saying about options being limited), ordered through a QR code thingy, and there came my food. I ate my food alone quietly whilst eavesdropping on the peeps next door discussing politics and the economy (sorry, ladies!).
I was quite surprised to see the bill being a fair bit more expensive than I imagined, as I was sure to have budgeted my meal properly beforehand. Sure enough, there was a flat service charge applied without my knowledge, which would otherwise make sense had I come with a few companions. I personally am not a fan of this model; it's not the amount, just the fact that it's hidden and uninformed.
