Moulins et Cafe goût — Restaurant in Osaka

One of the best bakeries I've gone to in Asia. Finally a proper bakery. Every single pastry I tried was very well done.

Crispy, flakey, buttery, melty croissants. I've been searching for a proper croissant in Asia and this is the first place that has nailed the texture. Could have a more buttery flavor but still great.

The curry filled pastries are dangerously good.

The canele was impressive! Crispy exterior.

The danish was pleasant. The custard is smooth and light and blends nicely with the crispy dough and fresh fruit.

Thr katsu sandwich was yummy, but some bites were a little dry. I think it could use a bit more sauce.

I particularly like that the serving sizes are small and priced accordingly so you can try multiple things.

As of this review they weren't serving coffee.

There's a nice little 3 table patio outside. No seating inside.

Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for proper French...

2回目の訪問です。 大阪市中央区「ムーラン エ カフェ グウ 森ノ宮店」さん

JR大阪環状線・大阪メトロ中央線・長堀鶴見緑地線「森ノ宮駅」から玉造筋を南へすぐのところにある「ムーラン エ カフェ グウ 森ノ宮店」さん。

店前にテラス席が8席あるので、ちょっとした休憩にも便利で大阪城への観光客の方がよく利用されています。

グウさんと言えば「春恋シリーズですよね！」本日購入した商品は・・・（※全て税抜き） ★「春恋ドック〜スパイシーチリ&チーズ〜」（360円税抜き） もっちりとした生地に食べごたえのある黒コショウ極太ウインナー（ほぼフランクフルト）、その上に「チーズチリソース」が乗っています。最初、黒コショウの爽やかな風味から入ってチリソースの辛味が効いてきて、最後に濃厚なチェダーチーズの風味が口の中にほんのり残る三段階味変ドック。

★「はちみつバターサンド」（180円） しっとり系の全粒粉ロールパンに「はちみつ」と「フレッシュバター」がサンドされていますが、はちみつ感よバター感が強く感じます。 個人的には「はちみつ」感がもっとほしいですけど、コレはコレで美味いです。

★「フレンチトースト」（180円） イメージしていた「フレンチトースト」より甘さが強めのデザート系に仕上がっています。 生クリームがポイントなのでしょうね！

★「ブルターニュ風　クイニ・アマン」（220円） 上部の「バター」と「砂糖」のキャラメリゼがたまらない発酵菓子。外はカリッと中はふわっとしていて、食べるごとにバターの風味が増していく感じ。めちゃウマです！

あ〜あ！！グウさんのパンはどれも美味しいので、また勢いで食べ過ぎちゃいました・・・（笑） ダイエットしたころにまたお伺いさせていただきたいと思います。 ごちそうさまでした。

Completely random and on the way, but I ate the best custard bun in Japan ever. They added rum, it was creamy and luscious. My hubby tried a different kind of western bread which was filled to the brim with preserved fruits and nuts with a small ratio of bread. It was divine too.
