Food was probably more of a 3.5 Ordered the Shabu-Shabu set as a group. The amount of dishes (beef and chicken) along with vegetables served were quite generous and seemed fresh. However, usually for shabu-shabu I expected the broth to have flavor or served as a kind of soup (like miso, tomyum, etc.) but as for this one, it was served plain with a dashi which didn’t do much. And then, I thought if the water was plain, there’d be more kind of sauces to eat them with but there were only sesame sauce and shoyu.
I got quite confused but perhaps because it’s not an All You Can Eat that there weren’t more options? I’m not sure.
Despite that, along with the Shabu-Shabu set, we were also served with side dishes like Chicken Nanban, Gyoza, Chicken Nuggets and Chicken Wings which were the better part of the meal. I love the chicken nuggets, they were thick and juicy and so were the gyoza. The Chicken Nanban was also enjoyable but I didn’t get to try the chicken wings.
If there were any reason to return, it’s definitely these side dishes and the set menus which include them.
So: Shabu-Shabu: 3/5 Chicken Nugget: 5/5 Gyoza:...
Read moreThe worst service I ever had in Japan. I was waiting for my sister to come to eat a sukiyaki, they pressured me to command it and when I ordered they told me that the restaurant will close soon (something like one hour). Fortunately, my sister came and we eat on time. It was the third time I came but I won't come back to this restaurant. I guess they wanted me to pay for the sukiyaki because it's more expensive even if my sister was still not here... In addition the prayer room is only avaible if you command in the restaurant. To finish with, they didn't explain how to eat the sukiyaki (there is no explanation for the shabushabu but we were lucky a japanese woman explain us how to). And you have to know it's the same ingredients for the shabushabu and the sukiyaki(the egg and the broth are the difference). And you can not command for one person...
Read moreaccidentally found about this place from muslim friendly japan group on facebook. i tried halal kushi katsu all you can eat hisagi course. overall, the foods were very delicious and please do order the course when you are really hungry to savour all the delicious foods on the menu! we can only order 8 items a time
besides halal food, they also provided prayer room with wudhu’ place. but do note that it connect with kitchen hall, only divided with curtain. for muslim woman, it might feel a bit uncomfortable
for the improvement, i hope they install call button for waiters and put one jug of water on each table. i had to ask for water several times and raise my voice just to make sure the waiters heard the call. its also hard to keep calling them to order...
