Tsuruhashi Fugetsu OCAT — Restaurant in Osaka

We walked in near to 9pm and there are no customers. The store seems ready to close but they welcomed us in and informed that the last order is due in 10 minutes.

The service staff spoke pretty good English and recommended us his favourite dishes from the menu (another staff also gave us his recommendation). He was meticulous in helping us understand what we are ordering and highlighting what's not available anymore. His and his colleague's recommendations were spot on and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole meal. The cooking was done in front of us and he explained at each step what he is going to do.

There were few customers but we didn’t get greeted when arriving at the store. So I was a little confused about the service. I ordered the Okonomiyaki with shrimp and squid, and some a la carte. some of the ingredients might be bad or uncooked. My stomach feels very bad after the dinner in the evening. This is the worst Fugetsu store among all fives...

We got the yakisoba and some sides and came quickly. If you want to get the okonomiyaki it might take quite a while though, so do factor that into consideration! Food was slightly salty, but not a big issue. Very satisfying meal, would recommend if you stay near OCAT. An additional plus point is that they don't allow smoking within...
