My lovely friends brought me here to celebrate my birthday, and it was one of my most memorable celebrations to date! I'm so grateful that I got to experience my first Omakase in Japan here, especially one that incorporated aged fish; a concept I have never heard of prior to this!
Chef Masaya meticulously prepared the delicious dishes alongside his amazing team. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly, and even humorous, which made the experience 10x better. I will definitely be coming back here if I visit Osaka again.
I loved every dish, and also managed to somewhat enjoy the ones with heaps of chives which I usually would pick out :') Notably, my favourite dishes include the aged squid, the botan shrimp with uni and shrimp eggs, and the 'expensive parfait'. I'm an amateur foodie, but there's nothing that I can fault about the food or the wonderful team and ambience of the restaurant.
I usually never keep business cards...but Chef Masaya's card is sitting on my wall! Thank you once again to the team at Jukusei Sushi...
Read moreVery intimate dining and the service here makes me feel like home. Goes without saying, this is one of the best omakase I’ve ever eaten and it sets the bar very high esp this is my first day in Japan. They will explain to you every dish that they serve so it’s very easy to understand and rmb what are the dishes that I’ve ate (as there are many different ones that I’ve not seen before). I will definitely recommend everyone to come here and I will definitely come here again whenever I visit Japan! This is truly a hidden gem as it’s not flooded with tourist yet! So a plus point!! Thank you Yumeto, Yuina, Maiyuko (Tuna-Chan) and Akira for the wonderful service...
Read moreAmazing experience. It's my first time taking my family to have omakase in Japan and I am very glad that I came to this place. It was a bit difficult to locate the shop as it looks like a private residence on the outside. ( look for the door with the shop logo outside)
The owner and his staff are very friendly and eager to introduce the dishes. They will use a little translating device and booklet to help you understand what are the ingredients, so don't worry if you do not speak Japanese.
The food, needless to say, is heaven-like. No words can describe how delicious they are. Everything is on balance. The taste are layered...
