Places like this are why I try to avoid Google reviews. Came in for coffee, but tried their Zensai, which is this amazing, sweet bean soup. It was delicious! And first time I had it in Japan. I’m reading these negative reviews about a bad experience. Not my experience at all. The older woman who runs it was being helped by her daughter. Both were very friendly and helpful. Definitely try it out.

小豆等の豆を使った和風メニュー＆ピザトースト等の洋風メニューを楽しめる美味なお店です。店主こだわりの珈琲カップも手に馴染みやすく壁面をギャラリーとして貸出しておられるので口・目・耳とが(耳は後半で)喜ぶお店です。空堀商店街の乾物店が前身だけに善哉等の和風メニュー担当の母上の腕は大したもの。幼少期からアンコは見るだにおぞましきモノであり中学以降は誕生日は白いご飯とビフカツだった程の(赤飯の小豆すら敬遠)私が還暦を過ぎてからアンコ大好きに転じたのは、疲れ切って入口横のボードに惹かれ頂いた紅白のお善哉のおかげ。ピザトーストも大好きです、黒胡椒を振りかける際にキャップが外れた事があり謝罪と共にすぐ作り直すと仰有ったのを押し留め無理を言って頂いた事があり胡椒好きの私には最高でした、以来、外れろと念じるのだが実現はしていません。プチ手土産に向く珈琲パック等の販売があるのも嬉しいし、きな粉もとても美味で２歳児が大喜びでお皿はもちろんテーブルに散らばったのを舐めたとママからの連絡があった程である。コレを言えば客が来なくなるのではと尻込みする事無くお嬢さんが控え目且つ毅然と注意をして下さるので、浪速のオッサンオバハン＆その予備軍のバカでかい話し声を聞かなければならぬという事がなく店の雰囲気はいつも良いのです。更に私世代の大阪人には懐かしい大阪弁(今の大阪弁は吉本弁。大阪弁は上品ではんなりとした、桂米朝師が話されていた感じと言っても通じない方が増えた？)を操る事のお出来になるお母様はこの話し方の最後の世代かも。本町の超有名な饂飩店のご隠居さんがあの世に旅立たれてからはこちらのお母様し...
