My Family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Nico Hotel Osaka, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish.
Location: The hotel’s location is unbeatable—situated near Dotonbori and within walking distance of two metro stations, Nippombashi Station and Tanimachi 9-chome Station. These stations provided easy access to attractions like Universal Studios Japan, Osaka Castle, and even Kyoto via a connection to the JR Line. Despite being so close to bustling shopping and dining areas, the hotel is in a peaceful neighborhood, thanks to Japan’s predominantly EV and hybrid vehicle traffic.
Rooms: The room exceeded all my expectations in terms of space and design. It had an apartment-like vibe, with a well-thought-out layout that included a receiving area where you can leave your shoes (bedroom slippers provided). The separate toilet, shower room with a bathtub, and a fully equipped kitchen (complete with a stove, microwave oven, fridge, and even a washing machine) made it feel like a home away from home.
Amenities: While waiting for check-in, the hotel’s well-stocked bar provided a relaxing start to our stay. We ordered and enjoyed the 5-cheese pizza with honey and plum wine for our drinks, both of which were delightful. I was particularly impressed by the excellent snacks served alongside their beverages. The bar offered a variety of sake, whisky, beer, and other liquors, catering to different tastes. This small but thoughtful touch added significantly to the overall experience.
Service: The highlight of our stay was the exceptional service provided by Renz, a member of the staff. He was incredibly helpful and fluent in both English and Japanese, which made communication seamless. His warm Filipino hospitality truly stood out and made us feel welcome.
Value for Money: Considering the spacious rooms, excellent amenities, and prime location, Nico Hotel Osaka offers incredible value. I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next trip to Osaka.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and exceptional service in the...
