Amazing wood fired pizza. By far the best I've had in Japan and probably one of the best I've ever had outside of Italy. Very reasonable price for the quality. Around ¥1,200-2,500 for a large pizza depending on toppings. We spent exactly ¥4,000 yen for 2 pizzas and 2 camparis. Given the quality this is up there for value for money in Osaka.
We had the Romana (anchovies and oregano) and a special with asparagus, ham and a poached egg. Both were done to perfection - perfect thin base with a crust at just ehe right level fo crispness. The egg you'd was a dark golden and packed full of flavour. The wood smoke flavour permeated through.
To top it off, the chef was smiling and friendly throughout and seemed to have a genuine love and passion for what he was doing, which led to a wonderful atmosphere and we were simply happy to be there with him.
I can't recommend highly enough. This isn't just some pizza joint - this is a seriously special restaurant that you wouldn't want to miss.
Thank you for a wonderful and memorable evening and we hope to...
Read moreI rarely leave reviews but as I am sitting down at this establishment I must leave a word. I have found pizza’s to be less desirable while in Japan but this will be my go any time I’m in Osaka. The restaurant itself is very small yet cosy. The down stairs area is lovely and you can see everything happening. The pizzas are reasonably priced and have a fair selection, the few I had tried so far were superb and are delightful with every bite. The drinks yet again are also reasonably priced. Service was super quick (mindful that it was quiet at the time), not to mention the staff were lovely. To top it off the tiramisu was small but just enough to finish off with something sweet. I very much look forward to returning...
Read moreBest pizza in Osaka!! Went to several places in Osaka and Kyoto for pizza (cause sometimes you want something different then Japanese food) and this place nailed it!! Great place, staff was very friendly and welcoming, pizza was delicious and the tiramisu was spot on. I've been to Italy many times and this was just as good as it get when it comes to Italian pizza. My friend who's Italian even said it was really great and he definitely recommends it. And what was even more suprising was the price, it was very affordable i would say its cheap. If i would have to say something "bad" (but it's not) it is that the pizza's could be a bit bigger. Why are you even still reading this, go...
