GREAT RAMEN!!!

My hotel recommended me this place and boy I did not regret it. (Hotel Cargo)

I got the white chicken ramen with 2 chicken karaage and some rice as sides. The ramen sauce is very thick and has a „mushroom“ like taste which is amazing. The meal cost me 1380Yen what I find very fair.

The restaurant is more on the smaller side but it’s still very comfortable. I think while eating here I was the only non Japanese person, so it’s not that touristy since it’s a few streets away from the main tourist road but for me that makes it only better.

The service personal is also unbelievable kind. I had some problems with the ordering, it’s my first time in Japan, and the waiter helped me always with a smile. Which made my experience at the restaurant even better. :)

The ordering is also quite simple, there is a touch bad machine outside where you order your dish, pay and then go inside and give the server your recipe. After that I got my meal in a few minutes. Sadly they accept only cash at the machine however there are a few ATMs that are not far away.

Saw this restaurant opposite my hotel the first night I checked in and was super hungry. Huge fan of tonkotsu ramen but first time trying tori paitan so I was a little hesitant.

Nonetheless, I became a convert. The broth was foamy and delicious and I never knew chicken could taste so good.

With so many good food options in Osaka, I still returned here for dinner for yet another try and I’m sure I might even a few days later.

The machine takes only cash via a vending machine that serves you an order chit. Menu items are written in Japanese but there’s an English menu booklet on the machine itself so just match with the...

Delicious!!! My first traditional ramen in Japan. Soup was creamy and flavorful. Staying in a hotel nearby and can see myself visiting this place several times!!

Small update: Heads up!! We wanted to come again a few nights later for our last Osaka meal, but they turned us away at 8:38pm (sign said 9pm close time). We were slightly disappointed since it was our last night and really enjoyed our meal, but maybe staff needed to close early? We found ramen elsewhere, but here would have been our preference. Next time, we'll make sure to show up at least 30m...
