A beautiful cafe that has been doing business since 1970 at this lovely establishment. The ambiance is perfect for talking for hours on end with jazz music softly playing on the music system and 1970’s art deco all about. During tea time it gets quite busy on the weekends so expect a wait of a few minutes. Most of all, the dishes are a great value as most things were costing around one coin as of 2024. If you like retro, local businesses that serve good, cheap dishes, this is the place. I just hope this stays a local secret as I would stop coming if I needed to wait hours. Enjoy!

Mad ugly front cashier with beard and weird glasses yelled. He didn’t received our payment in coin and kept shouting for paper cash payment. He was sooo racist and rude. Foreigners should think twice before going to this cafe. But other waiters were nice and friendly. A waitress kindly explained us about the menu.

I’m so glad this place is still going, it’s like a reliable friend you can count on. Groovy place where they are resisting modernization. Didn’t get affected by cigarettes as much this visit either. I’m not sure where the old owner guy is, he directed us on previous visits.

If you’re not Japanese, if you’re a foreigner, DO NOT EVER come to this coffee house. One of the man waitresses(wearing glasses) is a RACIST. He actually yelled at my face not to come back here ever again, and told me that this place is for Japanese people. I was counting the amount of money I had to pay, and he was yelling at me the whole time for not counting it faster. It was the worst service I ever had in my...
