Delicious okonomiyaki and yakiudon away near daikokucho station exit 5. There is an english and chinese menu available and the owner understood a bit of english so ordering was no issue.

Note that this is a smoking restaurant and that they don't allow anyone under 20 years old. There is also a 1 drink and food order per person but there are non-alcoholic options available.

We arrived just an hour before closing, and the owner hesitated for a moment but kindly let us in. I can’t express how grateful I was.

Since they were running low on ingredients, the chef recommended a special yakisoba made with half soba and half udon noodles (2 portions), along with 2 portions of okonomiyaki. We trusted his suggestion completely—and it was beyond amazing.

Honestly, the yakisoba was the best I’ve ever had in my life, and the okonomiyaki was packed with rich, yet clean flavor. We had a nice little chat with the kind owner too, and I’m definitely coming back next...

If you need friendly and welcoming staff and are hyper allergic to smoking: turn around and leave. If you are in for a good taste and authentic experience: stay, lay back and enjoy. An English menu is indeed available and makes it easy to order. We really enjoyed the cooking plate in front of us and are sad that after 9 PM the daily menus were not available anymore.
