Took the subway to get here since Osaka doesn’t have many edm club options especially on Wednesday night that are worth going to.. 1500 yen to enter and you get one free red Bull vodka drink with entry..music was TOO loud making it very hard to converse with anyone… could have lowered it just a little so you don’t have to scream to have a convo. Lots of cigarettes being lit in there so be prepared to smell like smoke and enjoy a nice secondhand buzz from the cig smokešŸ˜† I still had a good time though.. stood by the ac vents so I didn’t have to breathe all the smoke for the most part. Drink prices averaged $5-8 usd. Everyone was friendly (I’m from Texas) Club closes at 5am but after 2am the music became repetitious so I decided to leave. I’m more into dubstep and trending music.. they played lots of early 2000s rap remixes and choppy techno/house. 2 songs were dubstep. Yes, there were some new songs played too. Mainly American music. I don’t remember the name of the particular DJ but the club host many different DJs throughout the week. They also give out free shots on stage too. Overall, I recommend checking it out! They put on a good light show too 🤩

Owl Nightclub (Umeda) is one of the busiest and most energetic clubs I’ve been to in Osaka. I’ve gone a few times, and there’s always a good crowd, even on random weekdays, a great mix of tourists and locals, which keeps the vibe fun and social. The club is relatively small, but it makes up for it with a great sound system, good lighting, and solid energy. There’s also a locker room available, which is super convenient. Drink prices are reasonable, and overall, Owl is a reliable pick if you’re looking for a lively night out, especially when other places might be quiet. Highly recommend for weekday partygoers!

[SEXUAL AND PHYSICAL ASSAULT - UNSAFE FOR WOMEN] Got groped and also punched in the face after I tried to fight back and no staff or bouncer did anything about it. It’s common in the Japanese culture for these things to happen and it was all Japanese people so ladies please avoid this place and be safe!

Do not trust the staff at these nightclubs.

A friend and I went to OWL. At the entrance, a staff member gave us a voucher and told us that if we went to Piccadilly and bought the entry ticket there, we would have access to both clubs (OWL and Piccadilly). So that’s exactly what we did.

We stayed at Piccadilly for a while and later decided to go to OWL to check it out. When we arrived, we were denied entry. The same staff member who had given us the voucher told us that we should have shown it to the Piccadilly staff before going to OWL, but we had already shown it when entering Piccadilly.

They tore off our wristbands and said we would have to pay again to get back into Piccadilly. That made no sense: we had already paid for the ticket, and at the entrance of both clubs we were told we could indeed enter both places.

They tried to force us to buy another ticket, and we said we would call the police to deal with the situation because they were clearly trying to extort us.

I believe that because we're foreigners, they thought it would be fine to make us pay extra for something we had already paid for. But that is not right and we're not idiots.

You should be ashamed of yourselves for letting...

So, first time in Japan let alone Osaka, and heard about this place. Decided to check this place out on a friday night with a couple of my friends. Ended up running into a promoter/manager there I believe by the name of Michael. Which was crazy, because he ended up being from the same area back in the states I was from! Due to the event going on we were able to get a free drink upon purchase of entry(which was discounted) and the party commenced. The plan was actually to only stay there for a bit, but due to the how lively everything was and to Mike's hospitality of course we ended up getting a VIP Table! Stayed there till the end pretty much. Ended up having a blast!! Would definitely recommend this place. Locals were friendly and there were a couple of foreigners there as well( perfect mix). Shoutout to the...
